Baker's Hill Palawan
People, welcome to Bakers Hill!
Bakers Hill is located literally on a hill where bakers bake home-made goods and products for visitors. It can be your small version of Disneyland as you go along the area and take pictures of the beautiful landscapes and cartoon characters like Bugs Bunny and Donald Duck. Household names that we grew up with.
But it is not only famous being a small theme park because it also houses different animals such as peacock and other species of birds, not to mention the display of plants and flowers in great splendour which can be found inside. A perfect place to relax and unwind.
Going back to home-made goodies, hopia is by far the most popular item on sale in different flavours like mongo, ube, pineapple, hapon, and the original flavoured hopia. We bought couple of boxes after dining in at the restaurant during our city tour with our friends from Thailand. Bakers Hill is always a part of the itinerary of tourists wishing to see the city. And oh, did I fail to mention that admission is free?

ReplyFor every traveler, food is indispensable. Stomach development if, of course, everyone's concern. Bakers Hill in Palawan caters this needs of everyone especially their specialty, hopia, which is also my favorite.
